The Outdoor Classroom (webinar format)

3 ECE hours

Webinar format

This bundle includes 3 popular webinars by Monica Carruthers on the outdoor classroom for early years settings.

    Back to Nature

Beyond the Blanket - the Outdoor Classroom for Infants and Toddlers

    Literacy and the Outdoor Classroom

As educators how can we bring back the 'traditional' childhood, complete with mud pies and 'exploring'? You've likely seen that there is a trend to bring back natural play and natural settings to childhood (and child care). This doesn't mean that we are not planning a curriculum anymore; this means that we are joining children instead of expecting them to join us! What a concept!!

Spring is coming! Prepare now for a wonder-full outdoor adventure.

Settlement is a process of transition that includes three phases. It begins with a change and ends with a new beginning. Between these two is a second phase of settlement that can be described as a period of confusion and uncertainty when people are adjusting to their new society.
