Early Childhood Educators may be subject to meeting certain requirements for hours of professional development within their province to maintain their certification. This requirement also applies to qualifying as a Responsible Adult in British Columbia.
As a provider of online learning, it is important to maintain the integrity of our platform for the benefit of all early years professionals who use our service.
For purposes of meeting the provincial requirements, the successful completion of a learning module requires a minimum attendance as
indicated by the number of ECE hours for that learning module (typically 1 hour).
When requested by a provincial authority (audit), Dominion Learning will provide a transcript to verify the professional development hours successfully completed.
